REVIEW:

I really don't want to sound mean or anything... but the cover really creeps me out. :/ It's soooo weird. Like they just photoshop the head and put it there. It's not her head... >.< CREEPY. I hope the cover gets a make-over cause it's really not that good. Sorry.

Anyway, on to the review... 

The whole time I was reading it I was reminded of Twilight. The first time Marjie met Kyran inside the classroom, it screamed Twilight to me. Up to you if you think that is a bad thing or not. But if you ask me, I'd say yeah a bit. I mean, it may not be the intention of the author but just a coincidence... Oh fine, who am I kidding? I don't believe in coincidences anyway. LOL. 

I was comparing it to Twilight mainly because, the guy was like Edward where he couldn't be near Bella because of certain circumstances. And then guy treated girl like he was mad at her but really, he's not. Then the next moment, guy is back to being sweet with girl... Next up, both Edward and Kyran got family, siblings in the school. Well, community college in this case. Then, they both got nice big house in the middle of nowhere. Both towns are not that well populated. Okay, I could go on and on and on about it. But I don't think it's necessary anymore.

Main question is, did I enjoy reading it? Yes. I did. Some of it. Okay, it's not like Twilight where in like 20% girl knows that the guy is a vamp. In here it takes like 50% or something to out that Kyran is not human. The whole family of Kyran are not human. I was intrigued at how the story was created, by that I meant how the whole paranormal setting is. Not the love story which is good, but mostly about the world building.

It still excites me, making me want to know what will happen next to the story. When the book ends, I immediately went to Google and search for the second book. But I don't find any. Is the author still writing the second book? Cause I still want to know what will happen next. It doesn't have a cliffhanger as far as I could tell but you definitely will think, "Well, what now?" 

Guess that's it. Great world building but the love story I wish is not something that would remind me of Twilight or any other books. But yes, over all paranormal world is really good. 

Would I recommend it to my friends? MAYBE. Those who are Twilight fan, I guess.
