Why the hell can’t chicks be more like guys?
That question plagues high school senior Sam Cruz. Sam is perfectly happy being a player. He just wishes girls wouldn’t change the game from sex to relationships. It makes him look like an asshole. But when Sam’s best friend, Ally Klinger, gets dumped, she begs him to transform her into someone who can screw around then screw off. No risk of heartbreak that way. It’s Sam’s chance to create the perfect female AND cheer up his best friend. Armed with Sam’s Three Step Guide to Backseat Success, Ally gets the game better than Sam thought she would and before long, Sam has his wish: the female version of himself. Too bad it’s driving him nuts. Told from Sam’s and Ally's alternating POVs, Sam Cruz’s Infallible Guide to Getting Girls is a fast-paced YA romantic comedy that follows these teens as they navigate the minefield of sex, love, and friendship.
This contemporary teen romance contains strong language, drinking, euphemisms, and lots of “bow chicka wow wow.”
*Once again, Thank you for the opportunity to be one of the tour host for this book. :) *

Eek. Sooooo... I have been hearing great things about this book since it came out a year ago. Why didn't I read it back then? Uh, is saying "I got distracted by other books" valid? Cause it is true! lol. :P

I'm not really expecting anything with this book. I was told that they love this book because it was funny. I just shrug at them and went to read it. I want to see how it was with my own two eyes. So here I am making this review, rated it a 4 stars. I was hooked after a couple of pages in. I liked that it was kinda refreshing.

It was fun to see the change Ally gone through. How she want to be somehow like Sam. I do agree with Sam though, that she's not the type that can do what he do to girls. I don't think I am making any sense here. Sigh, it's hard to review books that you like. >.<

I can't even explain why I liked this one! Anyway, trying again... I liked that it is funny. It made me laugh, there are some witty remarks that I adore. Like... like that one with "vullet". LMAO. I was like "Ally is that comfortable into asking Sam about that?!" She's still a girl, so yeah, notice my surprise. :P I love how they are comfortable with each other. Also that part with that sex shop. :D

The characters are all fun, well-developed and got good lines. Although I got a bit annoyed with Sam and his 'relationship problem', this book is great. :) I recommend it to all who likes to read something funny. ;)
